Feel free to read my post again. I never said that it was based on the SNES. I said that the graphics were similar to that found in SNES games. The remake was heavily based on WSC version, not SNES. FF1 SNES doesn't even exist. The WSC ROM of FF1 is 4 MB, so it can't be loaded instantly into the memory. I checked the CD size of FF Origins, and it's about 200 MB, actually (I guess FMVs and the new music increase the size). However, I think it's more about the game programming than the size of the game.
