Archive requests
I know the answer'll probs be PMs, but some people won't like them and we wouldn't want to bother everyone with the power to archive would we....
Anyway is there a way to request threads get archived? We can't do it in the threads after they get closed.
For example, the 'One Word Story' in GC was great, as was the 'I need help' thread in FFXII.
I say what I think. If you disagree, then that is up to you.
You're not supposed to ask or it loses it archive potential. It's a known fact.
Yeah, it jinxes it or something. The Kinghts of Cid can figure out on their own what need archiving.
True, but sometimes a mod will close a thread and noone'll see it.
It seems kinda odd to say that only mods have a say in site input in the feedback forum...

Most threads get more views after they are closed, because people want to see why it is closed.
And asking for somthing to be archived ruins it's archive-ness. So most likely it doesn't happen.

One of my biggest pet peeves in the world. Especially when you're about to archive it already and then they post asking you to, so it looks like you're doing it because they asked. Grrr.

Pretty soon people will be asking to get threads archived just so they won't be archived.

Unless you want to be chastized by the vets, don't ask a thread to be archived. You'll all learn soon enough.
