From footage I have seen, yes there is blitzball... and yes it's at least Yuna playing in the tournament. Actually I thought it looked kind of cool because it looked more "real" than FFX blitzball (no weird zooming camera angle on encounters).

yeah there is... but do you want to know the quality of it? It's blah blah blah. Eveyrthing just sucks. If you thought the FFX's blitzball was boring, then play FFX-2's. It's the worst sub-game square has ever developed. You don't even do anything either. You just watch.
You can change the setting to manual movement with triangle. You don't have to let it be automatic and just watch.
