Thread: Zone Alarm

    Default Zone Alarm

I installed it today, but it has a tendency to stop access to some (read: most) internet sites. I turned Zone Alarm off, and I was able to browse them again.

Is there something that I can configure to allow access, or is it just me being stupid? I can't seem to find anything in the options that determines access to sites.

    Default

Well, telling it to let your web browser to be allowed to connect out to web servers seems a good idea I was under the impression that in a default install, it'd ask you for every program that needs to connect out, or for anyone connecting in, but perhaps you've set it at too high a paranoid level or something, from what I remember when I last used that basic firewall.
