I-mode (mobile phone) eoff site.

Hey folks.

Eh i've been working on a phpBB and VBulletin mod for the Imode phone. As i'm working on a imode/wap module for my EPL website engine .

It works as follows.

you open your wap browser or imode(gprs phone) browser.

You log in using a loginpage (containing a logo and a few buttons)

It enables you to read your PM's And read topics... from your phone!

So eh if your interested we could whip up a nice I-mode (quite hot in japan i believe) EOFF site ?
(or a wap variant)

eh just an idea since mobile internet keeps getting more popular...

benn0: We just don't like to install mods and hacks. If he can do it completely from his own phone, I don't think anyone is gonna stop him. And by him doing it all by himself, he means that he won't require FTP or access to an admin control panel, then go for it, I guess. x_x

It's possible to access EoFF with a WAP-capable mobile, but its very limited. It'd be able to log in, post, and do whatever else.

Well, for all I know it is possible with an advanced mobile like a Sharp GX 10 or something - my T206 just can't handle most of the site's icons and pictures, and doesn't work for that reason.

My question is: Who would want to access EoFF from a mobile? I'm a hacking whore and I definitely couldn't be arsed with this stuff at FG if someone suggested it

Actually, I think it'd be better to deter mobile phone users from this place, we don't suddenly want lot's of posts typed in mobile phone shorthand
