    Default Computer Accounts

Can anyone help, I've made up another acount on my computer, I'm using Win Xp but I want to make programmes like Word and Excell avalible to both accounts. When I tried this it wanted to re-install these on the other account but I don't have the origional disk that I got them from. Is there any way I can make them availible without the origional disk.

I havne't used XP but if it's anything like 2k the programs still live in the "Program Files" folder and all you have to do is make a shortcut to them on your desktop if that's what you desire then you can use them. But all in all your programs aren't "not" available, they just don't have shortcuts to the desktop or in your start menu.

Tried it, it still wants me to install it onto the other account.

Hmm, it shouldn't need to do that. Has the other account got full admin privileges? Not sure if that'll make a difference, though. It sounds odd that it'd want to re-install programs.

It might very well be illegal for you to install it again. Licensing and registration and whatnot. God only knows.
