Anyone good with XP and/or IE?
Well.... my computer at home has randomly decided it wants to be retarded on me. For no reason at all, when I connect to the internet, IE comes up and looks like it doesn't even try to load a web page. I can still use other programs that require a connection such as AIM, but IE doesn't want to load any pages. My AV program is up-to-date as of Wednesday and I haven't opened any suspicious emails or downloaded any programs so I'm thinking it's IE's fault. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

The only case I can relate was on a 2k comp I had to fix which had been raped left and right by virii. I fixed the bugger with a clean install. So... try the repair tool of the xp cd.
