Hey, so I was in history english class earlier this week, and my teacher said we were reading "The Epics Of Gilgamesh". Are there any similarities between Gilgamesh from FF8 and the book "Epics Of Gilgamesh"?

The Epic of Gilgamesh is a story about an acient Babylonian King and his various exploits. I don't remember much of it except that after denying a marriage request from the love goddess Ishtar, the demon Enkidou was sent to spy on, an I think eventually kill him, but they became friends, thats all of it I remember, if it fits with 8's Gilgamesh I'm not sure, but its fits better with V's for obvious reasons.

The Gilgamesh in FFV Was Named after this I beleve the only othe simerlarity is Enkidoh Who also appeard in the game!
