Well people have different ideas of who would be good together, even if it's not possible in the story, that's half the fun. Whether he's (SPOILER)dead or not is irrelevant really, as people will still write fanfiction, draw pics etc.

Personally I think it's fun to imagine which FF characters would go together, I like the Auron & Lulu pairing, I saw some pics of it on somebody's website and they looked sweet ^^

And hey Tidus wasn't exactly (SPOILER)real, but him and Yuna were still possible, so ..it's just fantasy, anything's possible!
