I saw Final Fantasy III (IV) in Nintendo Power and knew I had to have it. So, I went and bought it, and spent my days trying to beat it. Unfortunately, I let one of my friends from elementary school borrow it and borrowed NBA Jam in exchange, and never got my game back.I didn't beat FFVI until I got it on an emulator.
