i'm worried this is going to sound sarcastic, but i was - in all honesty - wondering why my signature image was removed? Not that i think it shouldn't have been, since it must have been illegal somehow or another, but so that i may avoid such mistakes in the future.i'm not exactly sure why it went away.

I'm guessing you put in table tags and didn't close them, hence the death threat.
It was a bitmap image over 100 KB. You should really PM for this kind of stuff
