    What's the best downloading program?

Yes folks, it's another one of those *Xander needs help* days

Anyway I would like to know what you think is the best program to download with. All I basically want is something that will resume if I get disconnected from the net, or want to carry on the next day. And maybe something that I can queue downloads on so when one stops, another starts but that's not so important.

    Any ideas?

You could try two called Getright and Download Accelerator which have options to resume and such. I've used both and have no real preferance, though DLA is the easier to use.

I will do this. Nothing in my life matters except this. No moment in my life exists except this moment. I am born in this moment, and if I fail, I will die in this moment.

Flashget is the best downloader program for Windows I ever found, though it's not free. wget is good for linux, and it is free.

Cygwin is great, yes. I don't know if most people would be willing to install a pseudo-operating-system just to get wget, though. (Note: I would. *loser*)

Thanks all I decided to get GetRight as I remember the name being familiar, but I think it's only a trial version so if it runs out I'll try one of the others

I use Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) and I have no troubles with higher speed downloads. It's great, expecialy with the resume option.

doesnt get right have spyware inbuilt? or is that just the share ware gozilla thingy that has spy ware inbuilt?

if u use any type of download accelerator i would recomend using lava soft's Ad-Aware program to eliminate spy ware programs that come with some download acelerator programs _
