Okay, the more about ff I try to do, the more I figure out I forgot. See, I forgot how to get the Pumce. NOT the pumice peice, but Pumice. It helps summon Ark. Does anybody remember how to do it?

Get 2 Pumice pieces, then go see Hades. He'll synth them for you. Or you can beat Ozma.
Where can you get a second Pumice Piece from? I don't remember where I got the first piece (the one that teaches Boost) because I haven't played the game for ages. If only I had Ark I would feel satisfied I had done just about everything there is to do.
i think it was that ark gave one,ozma gave one and one was gotten at the choco sidequest

One is dropped by Ark, one is stolen from Ozma, and one is found in a treasure chest found in the Chocobo Hot & Cold mini-game/side quest.
As for Pumice, you get one if you synth two pumice pieces at the Legendary Synthesist, and one is dropped by Ozma.
You can also steal one from Ozma. Giving you two at the end of battle.
