Angry MOST ANNOYING AD OF ALL TIME!!! TAKE IT AWAY!!!

Arrrrrrrrrgggggggg!!! That casino slots ad that plays music is extremely annoying. I'm trying to listen to my mp3s and this thing starts playing on almost every freakin' page. For icing on the cake, it even gives you the option to play that sound again when you right click on the ad. I'm not even gonna comment on this.

Sorry, I just had to rant. I even tried turning off the option to play web page sounds with IE, but the stupid thing is flash media... so it plays anyway. At first I thought it was someone's signature that had that sound implanted, but no... it's an advertisement that the site agreed to have put on

If you want to gamble, go to a casino. Don't support these stupid websites that throw their annoying advertisements all over the web! Heh, I'm on a roll here

Get a pop up blocker that supresses in-page ads. Ad-Muncher comes to mind. I never see ads on here.

If you actually bought the CDs you are listening to in MP3 format(or burned them) then you could put it in a CD player and turn off the computer speakers.

That just what I do. But then again I don't listen to much music.

I don't think Panicware's pop-up stopper blocks banners, does it? I've used it for a long time and I've never noticed such an option.

Since I installed this newer free version of Panicware a few months ago I haven't had anything at all popping up except a few ghosts that disappear right away.

Check the Help Forum's FAQ. It's got a nifty little way to cause the banners to appear with nothing but that "The page cannot be displayed" thing.

Google's Tool Bar is better. Panicware has always tried to kill EVERY pop up, including the ones I wanted.

Yeah, get Firebird and then block the images that you don't like with the 'Block Images From this Server' command.

No, addon toolbars of any kind are evil, and the majority of them spyware. Unless the toolbar is an opensource one.
