YES!!!Extremly challenging!!!
pretty hard
not hard,not easy
easy and boring
i could have won it with my eyes blind
Not really. It was harder than anything that came after it with the "Final Fantasy" title, but that isn't really saying much. Same goes for Four.
It was hard at points. But very easy at the begining up till Walse and then got easy near the end in the Void apart from Twin Taina.
Lets Biltz
I'd go with "pretty hard." Not the hardest FF by a longshot.
It was fairly hard, yes. If was even more harder, that woud've been nice. Challenge = goodness.
Agreed. Plus, the job system is pure ownage - it helps make the challenge more worthwhile, IMO.
Job system is, without a doubt, the best Final Fantasy battle system. It worked best with Tactics, though. The idea was almost made for that type of game.
yes, now if only I could FIND my blasted copy of Tactics. *goes away grumbling*
I think it was a nice medium challenge - I loved the strategy aspect of it, but I was able to move through the game relatively quickly without much opposition or fustration. I spent more time training to aquire job skills than anything else, and the game's challenges were pretty straightforeward. The optional bosses were nice and tough, though. I still think Omega is one of the toughest FF bosses ever. I liked how the music tried to make the game harder at points, i.e. when you fight Odin, the music speeds up as your time winds down. It drove me so crazy I had to put the TV on mute to beat him properly. lol.
I thought it was a very good game in that it was quite challenging. I liked especially the last dungeon, quite large and full of challenging bosses. I also had quite a hard time on the last boss (mainly cause I was many levels lower then I should of been)
This space intentionally left blank.
Out of all the Final Fantasies I have played(4,5,6,7,9,10), this was by far the hardest. Some bosses took me like 7-8 tries to beat, especially Neo-Exdeath(Grand Cross always seemed to inflict the worst possible status ailments on me).
