Who Loves Tidus?

I know a lot of people don't like Tidus. His voice is annoying, yes, but to me, he's so sweet and lovable, and sexy. Is there anyone else who likes Tidus, too? If so, why do you? I hear nothing but negative comments about him...

I find him very sweet and lovable, and in the FMV's, computer game character or not he is gorgeous and I ain't afraid to admit that I fancied him a lot

Yeah he gets bad comments, which people are welcome to have their opinion to, I guess it's because he seemed to whine about his dad, plus his voice and clothes didn't impress people much.
But I think his clothes suited his profession as a blitzball player and yeah he was upset about his dad but so would I be if my dad made fun of me like that all the time!

Anyway it doesn't matter bout the bad things to me cos Tidus is just pure sexyness

I like him because he was put into a different world but he made friends and relationships, he helped Yuna and he stayed positive. He was gentle and kind with none of the moodiness that Squall or Cloud had (No offence to them I loved them both too! ). However this did make him a fresh and original FF hero.

I loved his character, loved using him in battle, and just overall loved him. And his voice was okay to me

Xander's just taken the words right out of my mouth! I just agree with all of it. He looked especially fine in the Spring may I just add (view attachment!) and I loved having such an upbeat main character (again I liked all the other main characters too) I especially loved the narrative voice throughout as it made you more attached to the main character. In support for his voice, he was meant to whiny at the start (though I didn't mind) because... well wouldn't you in a completely new world? lol But as he learns "through his emotions" for Yuna he grews more mature and I feel that at the end, his voice did reflect that... I mean he was hardly whining at the end (SPOILER)when he told her he had to go!!! He's my favourite main character out the series and was just so caring towards Yuna that he was just cute... too damn perfect! lol

Having a voice associated with Futurama can do that, the guy that voiced him needs to be able to vary his voice during voice acting more for different characters

The voice of Tidus is by James Arnold Taylor, who is actually a voice impressionist so if anyone can change a voice for a character- he can! In Futurama, he only did a few background voices. In fact hear him and his many voices for yourself...

Haha that clip had me laughing Leia ^^ It's cool he does a lot of good voice impressions although "Michael J Fox" and "Christian Slater" sounded a lot like Tidus

Im a guy, so I cant say I "love" him..but I think he's pretty cool. I was always confused when I heard people call him annoying

Personally, Tidus is the best FF character. He had layers, unlike Cloud (and others, like Squall and Auron). All he was was the "a tough nut to crack, with a soft centre" feeling. Super lame.
