Their fighting still is different, Sephiroth held his sword sideways by his head in the game, and was left handed. Mystery Man is fighting left handed, but his style is a lot different. But you gotta remember, in the game, there was a lot of standing around in battle. But it's not to say that Mystery Man is/isn't Sephiroth.

BTW... a mistake I've noticed. In the last scene where it shows the flashback of Sephiroth, he's holding his sword as if it were a taichi instead of a katana. In other words... His blade is faced down in the trailer, but in the game his blade is faced up. Huge mistake there as far as accuracy goes.

ok... watched the trailer with sound a bunch of times.

it makes the mystery guy to be seph.

hows it about a off the wall idea.

Holy, trying to save the world, actually saved seph from death... along with aeris, for SHE is the WCG. yes i know... that would be crap cuz she died and whatnot. but think aobut it.

Holy is the ultimate white spell, whats in the white spell realm, life2. the reason that aeris is all covered, is cuz she has been rottin in the lake until cloud and gang got around to "killin" seph.

now i know what you are saying, "but Jon, why is she allowing seph to take care of her" good question. seph cut his hair so it is shorter. cuz the fishes have been eating away at little ole aeris, she can't see that well or comprehend what is going on.

the reason cloud is fighting seph or the mystery guy is cuz somehow cloud found out about aeris being alive in in this guys care. and he is like, "she tastes good" and then cloud goes crazy and they fight and then cloud has to convince aeris that it is he that is cloud and not seph... and then they fight somemore

cloud wins, unveils Jenova! what a bitch... and the world explodes along with my head *POP*

    I know that's sarcasm...

But we saw Sephiroth die at Nibelheim, and then the projection Jenova made we saw disintegrate into the Lifestream. Unless he was resurrected from the Makoi Crystal, then he's gone.

thank you for picking up on it and not flaming me

anyway... all im saying is they make it seem like it is sephiroth when they have it fade from the guy kneeing next to the WCG and then fade basically face to face with Sephiroth in the burning fire.

i think they did that to show that it was him.

i agree that it is a cop out in a way it seems to bring him back.

but yet again, who knows, i COULD be right... or just mocking myself

Yeah, After studing the trailer a bit more for his fighting stlye I realized that he was left-handed. Oops. That's a interesting idea Erdrick. Just one thing, why would Sephiroth be taking care of Aeris?

But remember he didn't "die" in Nibeliheium (sp) he was just throw into the lifestream, where later on you found he had been puked up by it in North Crater and incased in Mako, then when Cloud gave him the Black materia he awoke.

There never was solid proof that Jenova died, you just killed on of the versions....

When Cloud is riding his Bike, i am curious on how he lands it when the seph look alike shoots at him... :P

Not sure what you're talking about... that the sword is pointing down? Yes, it's in relax position. And if you're talking about just the tip of the blade, I've just watched that and I'm sure it's pointing upwards.

err he holds it like a grand ultimate fist?

I'm telling you, the blade is facing a different direction.

A taichi was hung edge down from the obi (belt). When the blade is faced upwards, regardless of the size, it is known as a katana.

I don't see how depending on how you hold the blade when you're walking, determins what kind of weapon it is.

Ancient stuff my man. If you read Secrets of the Samurai, on page 260 it explains everything. Whether or not it is in the saya, also determine what it is. But watch the trailer agian, and then watch the FMV at Kalm, the way he's holding it is different. There's also a pic of him in the case, right where disc 3 is.

Alright, alright... I'm keeping myself outta this before I get dizzy.

That would be a TACHI friend.

Taichi(chuan) is a chinese martial art that translates into grand ultimate fist

I sure hope they dont spell it like that in your book...

Does it really matter? All the matters is that he's holding it wrong. Big deal. $#!T happens. Can we move on now?
