it looks like aeris.maybe a flashback.as far as vince goes,they did announce that vince was in one of the screanshots.other then the one you have shown(though...i can hardly tell WHO it is),i dont really see any others of him

On that site it's also said that there will be two females between 14 and 25 years old. Yuffie and Tifa, if you ask me... I think Aeris remains dead. Particularly when they mention another trailer translation "was the way I died.. a good way?" - but that means her consciousness is there still?

Yup, that's Vincent.
There's still no definitive evidence that it is in fact Vincent other than "it sort of looks like him." I remain skeptical.

the atmosphere, cape and pointy shoes in that one pic do look like vincent, but i dont know ... the bottom right pic does say "aeris?!" but i agree it's just a flashback, cos yah, she would have decomposed, unless they pull a lame "but it's magic-Ancient-water, man!!" on us ;-) :rolleyes2

She's been dead for years now, it's not far off a decade... get over it! (I'm not referring to anyone in particular here, just the general 'Aeris might be alive' mentality that's been dug up recently)
Two female characters are appreantly slated to appear, (they say between 14 and 25, not sure why... Yuffie would be older than 14 by then) - I doubt Tifa is dead and Aeris is resurrected
But it's early days. They've already stated that most (if not all) of the trailer... at least the first one... is for promotional use only and will probably *not* be included in the final movie.
lol i am pretty sure vincent is the figure infront of the full moon with a cape. Infact i am almost positive.

And since Vincent was optional, I wouldn't be surprised if they left him out. Notice how he never appeared in any FMVs? Same with Tidus, never spoke his name, and even in FFX-2 they never spoke his name, nor gave him a name in the subtitles.
I'm gonna laugh as well...
i thought it was annonced that in one of the screanshots we have seen so far it WAS vincent.(( check the EOFF main page).i'll surf around abit more and see if I cant find out some other sources.But I must agree...though I'd like very much to see vincent in the movie,he was an optinal charachter.
lol i think square announced vincent is 1 of the figures in the pics.
Square didnt announce it as such, but a few magazines have already said it was him. I think it's pretty obvious that he is, unless it's someone with long hair wearing Vincent's clothing.
