    :mog: What is the advantage of haveing a Black mage over a Black Wizard


    And this is what i think about the Monk/Black belt :chop:

    Black Wizard can have those higher level spells Black Mage can't.

    Less Hp,attack,defense, etc., plus no level 8 spells =
    Boy am I an unfunny ass.

    This may be little off topic but how does the lvling up system work on FF2

    Anyway, your actions affect which statistics you gain during a battle. For example, using physical attacks gives you a chance of gaining strength, and loosing a lot of HP gives you a chance of earing more HP, and so on.

    This is also known as the "Completly Absurd Way of Leveling Up" and is also used in Quest 64. An example is "If I keep running into this wall, eventually I'll be able to run into more times before I get knocked out". Now lets get back to the question ok?

    LOL looks like Jenova Reborn was right the first time.

    Anyway, it's better in pretty much everyway. BW has more HP, Attack, etc, plus he can use the powerful Level Eight Spells. The only drawback is you lose the cute little sprite.:rolleyes2

    The only advantages the class-changed class offers is extra abilities. Stats are not changed at all.
