Thief questions
Hello everyone. I just decided that im gonna buy final fantasy XI, but I was wondering if any of u can answer my questions about a Thief class which im really interested in. :mog:
1. What is the best subjob for a thief that raises dex?
2. What race works really well with Thief.
3. If you have had a thief plz tell me about its Drop rate and its Gill find.

1. I think ninja could be a good sub(but you can only get it at lvl 30) if not you can take warrior(should adds you some vit,str,dex)
2. Mithra are definetly the best followed by humes, but remember to play a race that you feel good with not only for its stats.
3. I saw on other forums that the drop rate was 10% higher with a thief in the 20s.

race doesnt make that big of a difference it makes some but not a big one
as for me im going to be elvaan thief cause i like thief u know like zidane
Race does make a difference, later on a taru mage would have over 130 mp difference to a elvaan mage around lvl 20+. While the mithra will definetly have more AGIL and DEX. Every race will work with a job, just some will excel much better later on. Cept for Hume.
i know just not a very big one that would be like a mithra has 9 agi and a elvaan has 1 so a thief is better for mithra. in stead it is like 9mith 7-8 elvaanRace does make a difference
In the beginning no, but if you lvl up ur Mirthra THF, it will definetly outdo your Elvaan one by like 7 or so DEX and AGIL later on at lvl 25+. It really becomes apparent later on.
