What is the difference between a Job quality, and a Job ability.

Huh? Job quality is the quality of a job? Job ability is the abilities you get for picking the job? I dont understand
Job Ability: Ability with a cool down time (varies per ability) which you can use to you or your team-mates' benefit.
Job Quality: Passive always-on boost to existing stats or abilities depending on job. Self only.
AH that makes since, so the ability is something that requires you to wait or have it recharged and the quality is something that is not bound by recharge time.

No its more that the Quality is the Passive ability like Magic DEF bonus you get at lvl 10 for WHM. You cant use it, but its there meaning u get more DEF against magic from now.
Ability is like a weapon skill like Red Lotus Blade from a WAR which can be used when u reach over 100TP.
