Consoles are the ones you have to have the right machine to play imports on... Or a freeloader.
Umm well we wont be on US servers will be on JP servers. and also you would have to use a American address i think. hmm maybe not. but you had to use a JP Address if you Imported the JP version.

Hey, I'm recieving 300 dollars in a few weeks and wanted to buy FFXI. Except I'll have to import it which won't be a problem... but uh... how would I make an American address? Can I just use a friend in America that's playing the game also?

Yes that shouldnt be a problem. Or get online and look up addresses in America and put one in. But im not sure if you will have to us a American Address like you had to us a JP address with the JP version. try your address to see if it doesnt work get an american one. Does anyone know if he'll have to have an american address for sure.

If you give a false address with a credit card... that's fraud.
I'll be using my parents credit card, or my keycard. They should have had an option for outside US addresses, what do they use them for? I have a few friends in the US I could put down?
