Installing FFXI.... Problems and help.

Ok I figure we can all help each other.

I got a "1607: Unable to install installshield Scripting Runtime." error.

Any help???

yep, the game is full of holes. You really shouldn't be having so much trouble installing it if it was put together well.

i got any error message on second dics
it said error some @ playonline/squareenix/something/data1/1 varify that u have it and can acess it

i varifyied that it was there but there was nothing in it
or maybe it wasnt there

I didn't have any trouble installed (Except maybe for the ungodly install time). Did you install PlayOnline first? That could be it... but might not. If worst comes to worst, your disk might be messed up. Trade it in for a new one.

Well I found out it was partlly due to my comp.... I've recently (last night) Formatted and I will intall this morning.

By Tonight I may be Playing.....
