Thread: Max Level

    Default Max Level

I'm wondering if there's a maximum on total levels you can have, or if you can max out the level of each job? I just want to know because I'd like to try a little bit of everything, because of the extra fee for each character you have. (Sure, it's negligible, but still...) Plus, as far as roleplay goes, the character I'm thinking of playing would be the type to learn some of everything.

So, yeah - if I were to put enough time into it, could I, for instance, become a level 70 Fighter, level 70 Monk, and level 70 Black Mage? Or would it end up something like level 30 Fighter, level 30 Monk, level 10 Black Mage and then I couldn't gain any more levels in any class?

Well the level cap is 70 right now, it'll be raised in the coming months.

And you can essentially level every class to the level cap, but it would take a lot of time.

Alright, thats all good. I mostly wanted to make sure that I actually could do something like that, I definitely won't level every class up that far. But it's handy to know that in general, I'll be able to pick up the skills to handle anything.

well I plan on Maxing out everyting eventually but its certinally not a priority.

I figure you might as well Level another class once youve reached the limit in the one your in.

Ya but the level cap is gonna get raised soon (faster then when it first came out because now we all got it or have access to it so the levels I bet will be reaised in a few months) I've heard they eventually had plans for the cap to be 250.

It's what I've heard, but they have yet to even reach 100.

Well, if Square-Enix wants fans to keep playing, then it's totally understandable why they originally planned for 250 to be the level cap.

This might seem like a dumb question but i haven't played the game game so don't laugh. You say the level cap is currently 70 in each class, now my question is does it take a long time to lvl up (eg. like Baldurs Gate) or can it be fairly quick to level up?

It is hard. Of course it also depends on luck a bit (like fighting tough enemies solo sometiems missing the enemy just once makes all the difference on a battle.) or also for inexperieneced people leveling takes a while.

But over all the leveling is hard and long, I hear it takes about a month, of constant leveling and knowing how to level well, just to reach level 30.

But in short, ya it's hard to level and takes quite a bit of time.
