according to the eidolon wall, eiko is meant to stay at madain sari until she is 16 and has an eidolon of her own. i was wondering why dagger doesnt seem to get an eidolon of her own when she becomes 16.

Well, it could have been Ramuh - he does, after all, talk about him "becoming her eidolon."
And if she didn't get one of her own, it was probably because she had already left Madain Sari.

Well she did have all those other Eidolons before Brahne took them out of her.

I seemed to be more of a tradition passed on my Madain Sari. I thought of it more like getting a driver's license. So since Dagger wasn't raised in Madain Sari, she woudln't really know about it.
Turning the fantasy into SOME sort of reality... o_O
They probably wanted her to be safe, till she was grown up enough to look after herself and venture out into the world. Eiko and Garnet both have a few Eidolons already, but for Eiko to gain her 'own' special Eidolon, that'd mean losing her life-long companion, Mog, who was created for the sole purpose of protecting Eiko by transforming into Madeen when the time was right.
It's just so that Eiko won't be all alone while she's growing up, I think.
