In the third section of Traverse City. There should be some door that has a drawing of a fire on it. Cast Fire and it should open. I think that's where Merlin is. Correct me if I'm wrong.
yay the door opened... but what the hell... it's very dark... I can't see a blasted thing! Any more tips?

I had that problem, too. Just fix your TV settings. It's impossible to get to Merlin's house without seeing the platforms.
