to FFVI!
We should all get together and throw a cosplay party.
I'll come dressed as Celes and bring a keg!
Three weeks later, my dad rents the game from Eastman Video and we still have it to this day.

You still have the rental game? That must be one hell of a late charge.
More importantly than it being FFVI's birthday, this month is FFVI's tenth birthday.
And I'd pay money to see Big D cosplay Celes. As long as I could take pictures for blackmail.

Ten years old, and still a wonderfully popular game. It says a lot about the kind of quality we're dealing with here. Look at other games from 1994 - can you really say that Vectorman generates as much discussion? Nothing against Vectorman, of course; but Vectorman is nothing compared to the glory of 16-bit FF.

Yeah, I got it that Christmas the year it was released. Great game. Great times. I can't believe it has been ten years.
It was my second FF game, but it was the one that turned me on to RPGs (NOT MQ as Square had probably hoped). I still have my black baseball cap that says III on the front and says Final Fantasy on the back in Japanese and a picture of Mog on the side. <3
