Ivalice is split into the Arcadia Empire, which rules over Valentia, and the Rosaria Empire, which governs Ordalia. The warlike Arcadians have captured Dalmasca, a small country that's strategically located between the two larger continents, and replaced its monarchy with their own men.
I'm really hoping that these empires and countries consist of more than just one castle and three shacks...

Hopefully our enjoyment of the game won't be affected if we haven't played Tactics.

Any word on other characters beside Ashie and Vaan/Vann? It'd be strange to play the whole thing with a party of two. Not to mention possibly dull...
