technical stuff...help needed

whats the deal with signatures? i want one but am not sure how to get them. can anyone who is used to this site explain how to do that?

also i wanna kno how to have a "location" and a picture onder my user name. how the **** do u do that

This should be posted in the Help forum. But you need an image uploaded to the internet and you go to your "Profile" on this board and put the URL for the image in between code.

Example:
[ IMG ] put URL for image here [ /IMG ]

With no spaces between then [ IMG ] and [ /IMG ]

To get the avatar under your name just fo to "Profile" then "Options" and select one at the bottom. Hope that helps.

Your location can also be filled out by going into your profile and filling out the "Location" field.

As for sigs, you can create an image for yourself in a photo program like photoshop, or ask someone else to make one for you - last I knew there were plenty of people in the art forum who were happy to create sigs. Then you need to find a web host for the image, and then link it to the EOFF site as Omecle described.
