I loved his designs for Trigger. I was disappointed when he didn't return for Cross.

I hated them. Toriyama's characters are all very squat and stocky, and the girls all look very mannish. Not my bag, baby.

I really liked his work a lot. I didn't like his flat out character designs though. I think he bogged them down too much with equipment. His concept arts were great though. I do wish he would return and now that Square and Enix are once again merged. They can form the Dream Team once again!

i liked it kinda fine. the technology wasn't too advanced back then in the times of SNES so that would explain the graphics.

Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragonball, was the character designer for Chrono Trigger. He's most famous for Dragonball, hence why his style is usually refered to as that.

The general designs were good. The drawings... weren't. All his art looks the same.

I rather liked his styles, even if they do look like the jumped out of Dragonball, it would be neat if he joined back up for Chrono Break.
