Non Player Character - is any character in a game that the player does not control. For instance in Zelda Princess Zelda is a NPC as you cannot play her.

I wanna do this every year so I feel I should add catagories to my current list, so can anyone else also think of some other catagories? Think of some funny ones too.

If you want to do this kind of thing yearly then maybe you shouldn't do 'Best game' award next time and change it to 'Best game of 2004*'

Otherwise you get too many repeat winners and things like that because peoples taste of old classics don't really change that much from year to year.

*Games that qualify must be released in the united states of america from January 1st 2004 through December 31st 2004

Get your noms in soom people, nominations will be closed tomarrow and I will announce Finalists afterwards, then voting will begin.

Oh and people for the love of god read the rules for nominations, I am getting alot of messed up nomination PMs that have a ton of repeated games, games that don't even remotley exist yet, and people putting the wrong thing in the wrong catagories.

    HEY WE EXIST AS WELL.

seeing as there are different release times all over the worlds and NOT EVERYBODY IS AMERICAN This would be very hard to do.

Im thinking of more like Games released from wherever you are from, lemmie just say this, if there is a game that is available in whatever country you are from but not in the US just put up the country name, Im from the US so you don't have to put up US.

Keep on beaming them to me, the more noms i get the better this gets.

I think it's fine the way it is. Nice work, Joel.

There are alot of respectable game developers in the europe (Free radical, Ubisoft, Rockstar, Eidos, chambridge {they made medieval, promal and ghost hunter} and codemasters just to name a few) that manage to distribute their games fairly dispite the "PAL/NTSC conversion issue". Its just stuck up game developers in US and japan that seems to Ignore the second biggest games market in the world.

And I've never heard of AIAS so Im guessing that the reason that they do it like that is that their based in america.

And please for the other people on this board lets just leave it at this before this turns into a flame war or something like that.
