Plus, if we did what I suggested, you wouldn't be forced to reregister at all in the first place. You could turn your back on the spam haven forever.

Actually. That would be really cool, you know. =] And bring back the forced Newbie avatar (hi) and then bring back the slowly-increasing-selection of avatars as you go up the ranks, too.
