    Scanner?

    Again this is for my mate, he has just taken his pc to PCWorld for a 'health check' cus it was screwing up and they deleted all his files etc, he tried to scan in some photos to email to someone and noticed (now getting to the point) that they were scanning in very dark. his scanner is a Packard Bell Diamond 1200 Plus, is ther anything anyone can suggest that may help? plz help

    Either default the colour scanning settings in your scanner control center (in case PC World has been tampering with them), or use the 'Brightness/Contrast' feature in the photo editing software that your friend is using. If you can't quite get it right, the 'Auto Colour' feature that most image editing software contains should do the trick.
