    help me with audio!

    anybody know of a program that can convert a "MIDI" file to a "WAV. or MP3" file. Any help would be appreciated!

    There is a great program called WinGroove, however it's shareware, i think you may only use it for 30 days or something.

    Anything that plays sound through your speakers can be recorded as a WAV file using a basic sound recording program, if you can set it to take input from the internal sounds being played from your computer instead of an external source like a microphone or line-in. Every Creative soundcard I've used has had an option like that anyways, to set the recording source to "What You Hear" or something.

    This is an example of something that's insanely easy to do in Linux but non-intuitive to do in Windows. [/off-topic]
