Mystic Quest is a LOT like Final Fantasy 1, but the graphics remind me most of FF4 'cause of how extremely square and blocky everything is. In FF5 they'd begun making things look slightly more natural. The graphics also remind me slightly of Dragon Warrior/Quest in terms of their bright cartoony look.
