I think it is a really good idea to be able to change your character and have alternate endings for each character. An example of this would Irvine and Selphie falling in love or something. But this would make replaying the game even more interesting!

Are you talking about something like 'The Bouncer' where the ending depends on the characters you use at certain times?

I see nothing wrong with that. But replaying the game and getting the same ending is still thrilling enough for me.

I kind of wish that FF VIII was the type of game where the story changes depending on which places you go to, people you fight with, things you say, etc. I love those types of games!
