    Default Mozilla/Flash problems

Well I just changed my browser to Mozilla firebird a few minutes ago and right now I can't view anything in flash despite downloading the plugin I was directed to install, so I need to know how I can be allowed to view flash again.

The problem is likely Flash. Their plugins don't work very well, and there are no third-party versions. I don't like Flash.

I always found installing Java harder, since you have to download a registry file and add it to the registry and pray it works. I've had to uninstall and install many times over just to get the VM to load.

There's an auto-installer for Java, it works fairly well. It's been around for a few months, maybe not longer than that.

In Linux, installing any plugin is as simple as unzipping it to the right directory. Yay Windows.
