Vincent's Weapon

about vincent's final weapon in final fantasy VII, I hear that to make really powerful, u have to fight a whole ton of guys, kinda like the brave blade in FFV, is this true? if it is true, does anyone know about how many guys u gotta kill with him?

u have to kill almost 7000 monsters with him, that means u have to kill the monster with his shot.
i know, its many, but you will make it at last!!

I thought you just had to kill them with Vincent, not necessarily his weapon. If so, go to the Temple of the Ancients ruins and run in the forest. You can hit those bugs that come in groups of 5. Hit them with Trine (enemy skill materia) to kill them instantly.
