Need Help In Saga Frontier

Yesterday night, I dusted off a copy of Saga Frontier for the PSX and remembered why I hadn't played it in such a long time: I cannot defeat the second to last boss in one of the quests and I became so fed up that I stopped playing.

The monster in question is from Riki's quest, The Ring Lord of Mosperiburg. I know exactly what I must do, but I haven't been able to succeed. I need to find the right combos that will actually work in this fight. Any help or strategy would be wonderful.
