Mikztsu used to use the blue dude on the far left as an avatar. It's a fake.
It also says "Squaresoft", a clear sign that it's not only a fake, it's an old fake.
Kind of reminds me of last year's "FFVII sequel" April Fools gag, which featured a few photoshopped pictures and some snapshots of action figures.
Which reminds me, I wonder what the April Fool's prank-rumor is going to be this year?
ARGUMENT FROM GUITAR MASTERY
(1) Eric Clapton is God.
(2) Therefore, God exists.
just to add that one of the characters on that cover is infact someones picture of link from Zelda hehe.
I think it is a pretty good fake. I have that poster.

A pretty nice fake though.
I suppose the artwork isn't really good enough to be real either. And where is this picture of link? I see one that looks kinda like him but I think its more just a badly drawn Aeris.
Actually,i thought that art was an officl poster for the game. Its truly a fake, because if FF VII was comming to the PS2(dont i wish...),then wouldnt they have shown some new art.And it would probly be in the making.Things like that dont get held up in secret to long, not with all the fans out there doing whatever to find this stuff out.
I think who link looks most like is Sephiroth in the background. And dont be so critical its a nice picture.
I have that poster which i got in a magazine when ff7 first came out on the playstation.
I've seen that piece of fanart before, without the Playstation2 and Square photoshopped onto it.

It kind of reminds me of the Final Fantasy Final fake article that I threw together (with Cloud and Auron in the same pictureOriginally posted by Evil Mr. Moo

Plus it helps when most people that oogle over this stuff can't read japanese.
