I believe that you can get it 2 ways:

1. Winning it at Fort Condor
2. Buy it in Junon at some point on Disc 2.

Are either of those right?

refering to? I guess that Cloud will find Sephiroth, but Aeris will die. OR Cloud will find his lucky shirt, but drop 20 gil in the sewers... I'm not sure

Actually it's not necessarily Aeris, if you go back and talk to your party members you can ditch Aeris and pick up a hot date like Tifa.............Or Red XIII

I think anyway, that may be a different stage of the game
