(The site I checked said that Conformer got a powerup if the enemy was strong, and that Cait Sith's weapon was MP-based. It may well have been wrong. But yeah, I'll cover my ass by saying that Buster Sword is the first weapon in the game. So there. )

Red XIII's Limited Moon and Cid's Venus Harpoon: based on MP
Yuffie's Conformer: based on enemy's toughness/level
Vincent's Death Penalty: based on how many enemies he's killed with it
Tifa's Premium Heart: based on her LIMIT bar
Barret's Missing Score: based on how many MASTERED materia he has equipped on it
and i don't know about Aeris's weapon

Aeris's weapon powers up when an ally is in critical or wounded condition.

There are a few ways to go about solving this. I think it's fairly obvious, but I could be wrong. I'll supply hints along the way if necessary.

Is it the Cosmo Canyon theme, which is a variation on Red XIII's theme? On the 3rd disc of the soundtrack it's the 1st track; the numbers 3 and 1 being inverted from the 13 in Red XIII's name.

This one might be easy compared to the last few riddles:

Two go together, though one resists,
Both as ones who don't exist.

Choosing her is the "correct" path,
But choose her foe and you'll face her wrath.

I think its a monster. Or a pair of monsters, rather. One monster executes commands while one doesn't (resists, even). They can be distinguished by gender. If you attack the female, that's what you should do, but if you attack the other, bad news. Or those last two lines could just indicate that they are monsters, and that if you side with them, that's good, but if you don't, you face their wrath - you fight them.

But I can't think of anything that fits this description. Bah.

thats what i believe too,fallen angel. Attack Ellena in the slum fight on disk two.Your last real fight with the turks. She the female in the group of three males(now two,sense tesengs death).

Nope, neither Elena nor Tifa have anything to do with the riddle.

The "Two go together" in the first line refers to both characters literally going somewhere.
