Damn - beat me to the follow up. Funny thing is, I would have done an ultimate weapon riddle, but I thought it would be too easy given the limit break riddle a while back. Haha, oh well.

with him along, (Sephiroth)
engineering comes in handy (Cait Sith sacrifices himself)
to win. (to get the black materia)
meeting "him" again (Sephiroth or Cait Sith 2)
after raiding the lost "ark", (After going through the temple)
and also the closet, (Skeletons in Cloud's closet)
A dear and lost friend, (Aeris)
and a friend from your home. (Reeve or Tifa)

Does it have to do with getting everyone's ultimate weapons?

meeting "him" again (You must meet with Bugenhagen again to get Red XIII's Limited Moon)
after raiding the lost "ark", (Yuffie's Conformer is in the sunken Gelnika)
and also the closet, (Cait Sith's HP Shout is in Reeve's locker)
A dear and lost friend, (Vincent's Death Penalty comes from his lost friend Lucrecia)
and a friend from your home. (An old man from Rocket Town gives Cid the Venus Gospel)

the game is final fantasy VII(7)...that may be it:P i would say 7 people at her death,but there is only 6(if you include her)
