I just got done playing this part in the game, and it matches perfectly, so if this isn't it, then I give up.

In the "Cloud's Past" section of the game, Sephiroth seems untuchable, and every attack does 0 damage.
- With a crack I'm back in there beating dragons on my way,
You find a dragon at the beginning of "Cloud's Past."
- Then am gone with a whoosh noone knows just where I go,
After the first incident at the reactor, Sephiroth mysteriously disappears.
- Ratatata they be falling one by one within this town.
After Cloud finds Sephiroth, he burns the town and kills everyone who survived the fire.

Hmm... the last line reminds me of the riddles that are used to find Vincent. However, that has nothing to do with the rest of the riddle. Or does it?
in the last line, is the answer unfolding a hint to something in the game unfolding?

That last line states that we should listen to the riddly, then you clearly point out "One Winged Angel," which is the name of the song played during the Safer-Sephiroth battle. Sephiroth is known to be a "one winged angel" while Cloud is the other "one winged angel" (as seen in the more recent drawings bye SquEnix). If that helps in any way, think of that, people (unless, of course, PhoenixAsh says that it's nothing).
one_winged_angel referred to the member of that name, who at the time was the only person to actually mention the last line.
Ansem is starting to think along the right lines, though not the Vincent riddles.
Hehe, I think I'll get lynched when the answer comes out and you find out how hard this riddle is. Though to be fair the last line is the key, and it's not implausable that it could be solved without knowing it.

Is this riddle speaking of Cait Sith solving the riddle in the Temple of Ancients (and through the rest of the riddle, you get Cait Sith, you're always a step ahead of Shinra, Cait Sith leaves and then comes back, probably too simple an answer for this riddle, but I thought I'd throw it out there)
