FF7 riddles

I'd guess the materia keeper on Mt Nibel. Howling winds indicates a place exposed to winds- like a mountain peak, which incidentally has caves. There was a Mako reactor nearby, and a natural spring of Mako from the flash back where it later condenses into materia. Plus it absorbed fire damage. And the acrostic spells nibel- a hint at the location?

EDIT: he posted before me. I think he was referring to midgar as the beast. It attacks with the sister ray as weapon tries to flee...

bingo- tis indeed the zolom. Hence the midgar acronym. I gave the second riddle as a hint. Never played in this thread before so Im sorry if I broke the rules! Still- you're turn now One_Winged_Angel

Well of course the blatently obvious answer is Cait Sith, but i'm more curious about the pretty tricky answer.....

For the pretty tricky answer i'm gonna say the Fortune Telling Machine in Wonder Square, might be wrong, but it popped into my mind.
