Not true. My first time through, I got all of them EXCEPT the rocket one, and still had the last 3. NYAH!

Kounetsu: Are you not listening? Fine, I'll elucidate: the Huge Materia are locked in the pod to be shot at Meteor. Cloud and co. retrieve them using the code. No matter what, you must put in that passcode to retrieve all the Huge Materia you've collected.

Ansem: NYAH!

And so will I. I played once, missed the code, and still had the other 3 huge materia. Pissed me off, as I may as well not have had the red one...
