Help with FF6 on Zsnes

Hey there! I've been trying to play Final Fantasy 6(3) on Zsnes. However, in the game, when I'm walking around (in cities, on the map) there's this glitchy, shaky bar that distorts the screen when it scrolls. I thought it was a bug for that particular version of Zsnes, but it wasn't. I also tried a few different versions of the game... help me please!!!

Try a different emulator. I tend to use SNES9x and never had problems with that game. I'm sure you can find it using Google.

I tried that one, but the full screen stretch makes everything look bunk...

Try enabling VSYNC in the options somewhere.

there's an option to turn full screen stretch off somewhere in the preferences. and if you don't like it being that small you can resize the window to a more suitable dimension that doesn't look crap simply by trying to retain the 4 to 3 aspect ratio.
