You scared me there, Unne, I thought it would be live action. Not that this will be anything great, just a super-long episode. But I think they're about 4 years too late to make anything like this worthwhile.

I'll go see it. Hopefully after season fifteen (once they break that record) Fox will cancel the show or Groening will stop it himself and I can watch reruns for the next fifty years.

Yeah, back in 1995 or so this would've been cool. Heck, it sounds cool to me now, in a way. I used to love The Simpsons. Can't help but feel like this came a few too late, however.

I really don't watch the Simpsons much any more. I used to watch it all the time, and rumours of a Simpsons movie have been in circulation for ages.

Right now I'd rather watch the film of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy than this.

I think it's already dragging as it is, and since a movie's gonna be like what, 4 times the length of a normal ep at most and seeing how many eps have been done, I can't see them doing anything totally new or fantastic in it Yes, I lost interest in Simpsons years ago

Yeah I havent watched much of the new stuff, usually only the reruns of the good seasons, 3 times a day here. Maybe they'll surprise us all and get back to the fun stuff?

The series has been done to death, even worse than Friends has. The movie is going to be crap.
