You just have to run around the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth. Some say that they appear more around the purple clouds, or more to the one area that is most to the east. My advice is to just keep running around, you just have to be persistent.

There is one room in that cavern that looks very green. I read that that is the room where they appear the most, and it worked for me. Still took ages but they will come eventually. Just be patient and save every so often ^^

omega ruins -> master tonberries
cavern of stolen fayth/sunken cavern -> tonberries

they RARELY appear. use the teleporter to go to the BACK of the cavern then after every 10-15 fights, SAVE reload, continute running around. i got all 10 of mine within a few hours... there are encounter "sets" so to speak. and a certain group of monsters are chosen so sometimes tonberries are on the list and sometimes they arent. saving changes these sets and helps you CHANGE the the possibility they are in one of the sets.
