My ex gave us (roommates) valentines. I was trying to watch Ghost, which I hadn't done for years. I was excited. Then a bunch of sorority girls came downstairs for a meeting or something, so I left upstairs. Ex comes along later and complains about me not watching said movie downstairs (which was playing downstairs). Meh. She then goes to change the channel...
So I ripped up her valentine. Hah. Then she comes barging into my room and finds out xD

New topic: What's so bad about thread necromancy? If there's an old thread about something you actually want to talk about, I actually think it's a good idea to revive it, thus preserving that which has already been said, and the previous conversation might actually provoke further thought in line with the topic, particularly from someone who wasn't around when the original thread was posted.
I briefly considered reviving the oldest non-closed thread in General Chat and staying on the original topic to make this point, but c'mon, a valentine's event in late September?. Besides, the only thing I could think of to say would be "let's actually do this, who wants to be my valentine" and I was all set to do it when I remembered that BoB exists.
Subtopic: How awesome am I for reviving the oldest available thread when it hasn't been done before, and how lame would it be for other people to rip this idea off without preserving the original topic?
EDIT: Also, first staffer to see this kindly move it to feedback, since the whole point is to challenge a badly outdated and plainly wrong policy. Also has the added benefit of making one of you do work. I haven't annoyed any of you in far too long a time.
